In 2007 I became a student in GMIT. I studied my ass off and graduated with flying colours in 2011. This year I’m delighted to announce that I’m going back as a guest lecturer.
Here’s a true* story:
When I was a kid, growing up in the distant lands of County Roscommon, my parents would often bring my siblings and I to Galway for a day out. On our journey up we would pass by Castlerea prison. My parents would look back and tell my brother “some day you’ll be going there!”. As we got closer to Galway we’d pass by GMIT and my parents would say to me, the favourite child, “someday you’ll be going there”. Luckily, they were only right about one of us! I visit him weekly. Only kiddin’!
I’m going to be lecturing the Creative Enterprise group about how to build a website. I’m extremely excited to be able to give something back to the college where I learned so much.
Onwards and upwards!
